7/16/18:
"6 play at DMP, M2 Semi part of 16 at C.G.!":
There were two official sessions of GTA Monday Night Tennis. The first one was at the DeMuro Park Courts in Nutley (with "The Great Wall" Muhammad Haque reporting); and the second one was at the Cedar Grove Courts and it featured the first of the two M2 Semifinal Matches as the GTA Champion: "King Crush" Chris Chiaro teamed with "Nate the Great" Nathan Fernandes to take on "The Apex Predator" Adam Pienciak and "Teej" T.J. Shah (with Chris reporting). Other contributors to this report from that session are: "The Legendary" Chazz Weldon, "Dominant" Dawn Peterson, "Bravo" Brenda Jordan and "The Marathon Woman" Doinks Srinivasan.
We'll go to Nutley first and then do our best to pull together all that was reported from Cedar Grove.

Arunraj Nair/Bhumin Desai over Muhammad Haque/Keith Lewkowitz, 6-4, 6-3, as both teams entered the Doubles Division as the New # 73 and # 74 Ranked Teams respectively! No Aces.

The Brief from Bravo: I was feeling the heat, so decided to stop after one set. Dawn and Fadia went on to play Mixed Doubles, but Kathy and I were done.

Samara's Notes: I thank everyone for their very timely reporting. It is much appreciated. I also congratulate Chris and Nate on a highly impressive victory as Adam and T.J. were a tough team that made a solid run thru the tourney up until this point. Chiaro/Fernandes are the first team into the Finals, but have to wait for a Quarterfinal and then a Semifinal to still be played on the other side of the draw.
