"Rodrigues-Phoenix, Delgado-Kazakov at C.G.!":
GTA Monday Night Tennis took place at The Cedar Grove Courts, but without the usual hosts ("The K Man" Kris Srinivasan or "Hollywood" Frank Samara). There were two full 2 out of 3 Sets Singles Matches ("J-Rod" Joe Rodrigues vs. Jay "The Rising" Phoenix, and "Lean Daddy" Dean Delgado vs. "RK Fire" Rafaelo Kazakov) as Jay and Rafaelo sent in the results.
Also, "Mr. 500" Levy Lorenzo sent in an update as he and Natalia "Nitro" Sout were only able to have a hitting session with one another.
They both arrived at the same time around 8:10 and were hoping to have some Doubles at the conclusion of the Rodrigues-Phoenix match, but Jay was too tired to play and ended up leaving. Joe stuck around for about 15 minutes longer to watch their hitting session.

The Cedar Grove Results:
2 out of 3 Sets Challenge Match:
Joe Rodrigues over Jay Phoenix, 6-4, 6-4, to successfully defend both his # 21 Rank in the Advanced Division and his # 2 Rank in the Intermediate Division! No Aces.
Jay has his say: We started about 7pm. It was much more competitive than our match from two weeks ago. This one featured numerous breaks of serves and many Deuce games, but he was just plain better on the big points. I will to have to improve my game to beat him.
2 out of 3 Sets:
Dean Delgado over Rafaelo Kazakov, 6-3, 6-0! Dean: 3 Aces (2 in the 1st Set and 1 in the 2nd Set)! This does not count as a Rank Defense for Delgado as Kazakov is solely in the Intermediate Division.
