"Albion Final/Monk Memorial Semi at AP!":
GTA Saturday Tennis took place at Albion Park in Clifton as the Albion Final/Monk Memorial Semifinal Match was played featuring the teams of "The Assassin" Alfred Chen/"Teej" T.J. Shah and "The Lumberjack" Ryan Pienciak/"Chito" Nick Inciong against one another to see which tandem would advance to the overall Monk Memorial Final (Ryan reported the results).
Let's now go to the results from Ryan.
The AP Results:
Albion Final/Monk Memorial Semifinal Match:
Ryan Pienciak/Nick Inciong over Alfred Chen/T.J. Shah, 6-3, 6-1, to become the New # 51 Ranked Team in the Doubles Division while also advancing to the overall Monk Memorial Men's Doubles Tournament Final! No Aces (apparently).
The Lumberjack's Chop: We started our location Final at Albion Park in the morning a little after 10am. Alfred and T.J. played well, but ultimately Nick and I prevailed, thanks to Nick's steady play and my not going off the rails. We then played one more.
Ryan Pienciak/Nick Inciong over Alfred Chen/T.J. Shah, 6-1! No Aces (apparently).
Samara's Notes: I thank Ryan for his very timely reporting and also congratulate him (along with Nick) on a very impressive victory. They now wait for the winner of the Cedar Grove Final/Monk Memorial Semi to emerge – Raj Shah/Raj Boddu versus Sairaj Srinivasan/Joe Rodrigues.
