3/13 Results.

3/13/18:

"14 play at The Bubble!":

There was just one session of GTA Tuesday Night Tennis which was the usual Night Owls session at The Wayne Bubble with "The Riz" John Rizzo reporting the results (Rizzo both acted as the host of the session and he also played).

We will now get the results from The Riz.

The Wayne Bubble Results:

2 out of 3 Sets Doubles Match:

Nick Caputo/Mark Cipollini over Paul Daddio/John Rizzo, 6-1, 6-0, to become the New # 22 Ranked Team in the Doubles Division!  No Aces.

2 out of 3 Sets Doubles Match:

Senthil Kumar/Lou La Forgia over Chris Chiaro/Frank Hohorst, 6-2, 6-4, to become the New #128 Ranked Team in the Doubles Division!  No Aces.

2 out of 3 Sets Doubles Match:

Chris Chiaro/Senthil Kumar over Lou La Forgia/Frank Horhorst, 6-3, 6-1, to successfully defend their # 130 Rank in the Doubles Division!  No Aces.

Tom La/Syed Rashid over Mike Sindler/Ray Spadaro, 6-4!  Tom: 5 Aces (4 on Ray, 1 on Mike)!

Tony Shiao over Ryan Sherry, 7-5!  No Aces.

Ryan Sherry over Tony Shiao, 6-0!  No Aces.

Ryan Sherry leading Tony Shiao, 5-1 (Incomplete when Shiao thought it best to stop the action at 10:57 with the 11pm cutoff time soon looming)!  No Aces.

Samara's Notes: John did not know if this was intended to be a full 2 out of 3 Sets Challenge Match.  With the 3rd Set ending up incomplete, it has to be reported as One-Setters anyway.  It would have been quite impressive, however, if they were able to complete this match with Ryan getting the victory as it would have placed Sherry in The Top 10 of the Advanced Division (forever removing him from going back to the Intermediate Division) and it also would have put him into the upcoming GTA Championship Tournament and taken Shiao out of it.  What a difference a game makes!

Tom La/Syed Rashid leading Mike Sindler/Ray Spadaro, 6-6 (6-5), but Incomplete!  No Aces.  Did I just say, "What a difference a game makes?"  What a difference a point makes!  They were just one point away (potentially…just like the Shiao-Sherry situation above) from a proper conclusion!

Samara's Notes: I thank John for reporting those results in a very timely fashion.  Samara signing off!
