2/26 Results.

2/26/18:

"Just 4 play at C.G.!":

There was just one session of GTA Monday Night Tennis at The Cedar Grove Courts as the Open Challenge issued by "Ice Berg" Scott Bergenfeld led to "Hurricane" Jose Gonzales answering the call.  There would-be full 2 out of 3 Sets Challenge Match ended up becoming two One-Setters instead (more on that later).

Then, "The Levitator" Levy Lorenzo and "Big George" Jorge Solano arrived and ended up getting into a Doubles One-Setter with Scott and Jose.  As the night grew chillier, they decided to call it a night well ahead of lights out at 10pm.

We now go to the report from Scott.

The Cedar Grove Results:

Jose Gonzales over Scott Bergenfeld, 6-4!  Jose: 3 Aces!

Scott Bergenfeld over Jose Gonzales, 6-3!  Jose: 1 Ace.

The Skinny from Scott: Jose tapped out for what would have been the 3rd Set as he was out of gas.  We mutually agreed to scrap the idea of it being a full match and decided we will just play a full match at another time.  So he did not surrender his rank to me.  He said it was his first time playing this season and his endurance level wasn't there yet.

Then, Jorge and Levy rolled up, so we played a Doubles One-Setter.

Levy Lorenzo/Scott Bergenfeld over Jose Gonzales/Jorge Solano, 6-3!  Jorge: 1 Ace on Scott.  After that, it was getting chilly so we called it a night.
