"J'Rod-G'Man, M2 Qtr, Truong-Sinha part of 16 at C.G.!":
A special July 4th edition of GTA Tuesday Tennis (which only took place at The Cedar Grove Courts) got off to an early start as "J-Rod" Joe Rodrigues and "G-Man" Mark Grossman responded to the recent Open Challenges that both had put out there as of late and it ended up leading to an impromptu match in the morning hours.
Later in the day and into the evening, "The K Man" Kris Srinivasan acted as the host. Kris was also involved in the M2 Quarterfinal Match where he teamed with "The Webmaster" Senthil Kumar to face "The Speed Demon" Dan Praport and "The Lion Tamer" Andrew Ramer. And later, there also ended up being another impromptu 2 out of 3 Sets Challenge Match featuring "The A-Bomb" Andrew Truong squaring off against "The Practitioner" Pranav Sinha. For both Grossman and Sinha, it was their official GTA Returns.
We will first get the result from Joe and then have Kris take over this report.
The Cedar Grove Results:
2 out of 3 Sets Challenge Match:
Joe Rodrigues over Mark Grossman, 6-2, 6-2, to successfully defend his # 18 Rank in the Advanced Division! It was the official GTA Return of Grossman and he comes back to the Advanced Division as the New # 39 Ranked Player. No Aces.

M2 Quarterfinal Match:
Dan Praport/Andrew Ramer over Kris Srinivasan/Senthil Kumar, 6-3, 7-6 (7-2), to become the New # 9 Ranked Team in the Doubles Division plus advance to the Semifinals of the GTA M2 Men's Doubles Tournament! Andrew: 1 Ace on Senthil!
Mike Kazlauskas/Doinks Srinivasan over Kris Srinivasan/Senthil Kumar, 7-6 (7-4)! Mike: 1 Ace on Kris!
Kris Srinivasan/Senthil Kumar over Mike Mole/Doinks Srinivasan, 6-1! Senthil: 2 Aces (one on each); and Mike: 1 Ace on Doinks!
2 out of 3 Sets Challenge Match:
Andrew Truong over Pranav Sinha, 6-2, 6-2, to successfully defend his # 13 Rank in the Intermediate Division! It was the official GTA Return of Sinha and he enters the Intermediate Division as the New # 48 Ranked Player. No Aces (apparently).
Kris Srinivasan/Senthil Kumar over Tito Castolo/Doinks Srinivasan, 6-3! No Aces.
2 out of 3 Sets Mixed Doubles Match:
Moka Pathan/Doinks Srinivasan over Tito Castolo/Laurie Boughton, 6-3, 6-3, as both teams entered the Mixed Doubles Division as the New # 33 and # 34 Ranked Teams respectively! No Aces.
Kris Srinivasan/Senthil Kumar over Rob Gawley/Laura Gawley, 6-3! No Aces.
Kris Srinivasan/Senthil Kumar leading Rob Gawley/Laura Gawley, 3-0 (Incomplete when the lights went out at 10pm)! No Aces.
