GTA Saturday Night Tennis ended up taking place The Cedar Grove Courts with "Papa K" Kris Srinivasan acting as the host.
Let's now go to the action up at Cedar Grove.
The Cedar Grove Results:
Kris Srinivasan/Greg Swierczek over Sukumar Mitra/Herb Reiner, 6-3! No Aces.
Jose Gonzales/Sukumar Mitra over Greg Swierczek/Herb Reiner, 6-0! No Aces (apparently).
Jose Gonzales/Sukumar Mitra over Kris Srinivasan/Greg Swirczek, 6-2! No Aces.
2 out of 3 Sets Doubles Match:
Dwight Thomas Sr./Dwight Thomas Jr. over Kris Srinivasan/Jose Gonzales, 6-3, 6-4, as both teams enter the Doubles Division as the New # 25 and # 26 Ranked Teams in the Doubles Division! Jose: 1 Ace on Sr. in the 1st Set. It was the official GTA Return of both Dwight Thomas Sr. and Dwight Thomas Jr.
Dwight Thomas Sr./Dwight Thomas Jr. over Kris Srinivasan/Jose Gonzales, 6-1! Sr.: 1 Ace on Kris; and Jr.: 1 Ace on Kris.
The Say from Papa K: It was good to have The Dwights back in GTA action. They were solid playing in tandem and some of their gets were unbelievable. Dwight Jr. play for the Seton Hall Prep Varsity Tennis Team while my son Jay plays for the Seton Hall Prep JV Squad.
