"Knitzer hosts 6 at Albion, Haque/Hyman host 8 at C.G.!":
There were two sessions of GTA Easter Sunday Tennis: the usual early morning one at The Albion Park Courts in Clifton, but this time around it was hosted by "The Dark Knight" Dan Knitzer rather than regular host "Hollywood" Frank Samara (who took the day off to spend the holiday with his kids) and then there was an afternoon one at The Cedar Grove Courts co-hosted by "Diver Down" Muhammad Haque and "The Mel Man" Melvin Hyman.
The usual two back-to-back late afternoon/early evening Sunday sessions for the two Night Owl groups up at The Wayne Bubble (most often hosted by "The Riz" John Rizzo) were not scheduled due to the holiday.
Let's first have Dan detail the scores from Albion before getting the Cedar Grove results from Muhammad and Mel.
The Albion Park Results:
2 out of 3 Sets Doubles Match:
Ryan Pienciak/Vinnie De Benedetto over Dean Delgado/Dan Knitzer, 6-4, 6-2, as both teams entered the Doubles Division as the New # 163 and # 164 Ranked Teams respectively! Dan: 1 Ace on Ryan; and Dean: 1 Ace on Vinnie!
Ryan Pienciak/Dean Delgado over T.J. Shah/Rajan Shah, 6-2! No Aces.
Ryan Pienciak/Rajan Shah over T.J. Shah/Dan Knitzer, 7-5! No Aces.
The Details from Dan: We had some great action at Albion Park, though I was on the losing end of every set!

The Mel Man delivers: Everyone was kind of rusty and nobody brought their "A" game, but Chris and I managed to eke out a win. Later I had a hitting session with Doinks Srinivasan and we also played a few games.
