"Kris hosts 4 at C.G.!":
After such an epic Thursday night session at The Cedar Grove Courts, it ended up being a light night there on Friday. "The K Man" Kris Srinivasan reported the scores of the foursome in which he was involved with, but "The Marathon Woman" Doinks Srinivasan indicated there was likely to be two extra courts of GTA players involved in Doubles action there…but alas, once again nothing was reported.
I had originally indicated to Doinks my intention of possibly swinging by to attend the session (but it would only be to collect scores, not play) after attending the wake of Kathy Tufaro Bess earlier that evening in Woodland Park. Leaving that wake around 8pm, I went into an allergic fit (likely caused by an overdose of perfume from one of the ladies in attendance) that derailed those plans. I later informed Doinks and offered my apologies.
So now let's go to the scores from Kris.
The Cedar Grove Results:
Guy Dupoux/Doinks Srinivasan over Kris Srinivasan/Syed Rashid, 6-2! Guy: 2 Aces (one on each)!
Kris Srinivasan/Syed Rashid leading Guy Dupoux/Doinks Srinivasan, 3-2 (Incomplete when the lights went out at 10pm)! Guy: 1 Ace on Kris!
Samara's Notes: As always, I thank Kris and Doinks for all they do for the GTA up at Cedar Grove. Still, it is difficult for them (or anyone, for that matter) to be responsible for everyone else up there as well. So, again, I ask for people to take responsibility for their own results and to please submit them in a timely fashion.
